Permission for Self-Care

Dear Beautiful Soul,

I woke up on Monday with sinus congestion and fatigue. My philosophy is: when you're tired, rest. Even if there are things you must do, can you do them from a restful place? Can you also carve out time for additional rest and down time? It's okay to slow down and adjust your schedule when your body calls for it. Giving to yourself out of compassion and understanding is a healing act of love that serves everyone.

I find it interesting that the day after I talk about the disempowering beliefs of God from my childhood that I wake up the next morning with illness moving through my body. We tend to think of illness as 'bad.' However, there are times when physical symptoms show up when the energy of an old belief is moving out of your consciousness. So what if the physical illness I'm experiencing today is actually a sign of growth and progress? What if I now have a deeper understanding and embodiment of an empowering God?

Yes! I'll take that. I'll also take a nap! I look forward to continuing this journey as next Sunday we look toward the power of our thoughts as a way to know the Divine. I hope you'll join me!

Much Love,

Cassandra
