Everywhere I look these days I seem to see the same message emerging.  Transformation of consciousness coupled to meaningful and intentional engagement with the world is what is being called for.  I watched a TED talk this morning delivered by Robb Smith entitled the Transformational Life and it made me reflect on a lengthy exchange on the CSL Minister’s listserve earlier this year. http://www.integrallife.com/video/living-transformational-life Part of  CSL’s Global Heart Vision is to create a world that “works for everyone.”  This statement implies that the world, as it is, does NOT work for the benefit of all and that there is something we need to do about that; some role New Thought and Centres for Spiritual Living have to play in bringing that about.  I heard in this a form of Buddhism’s “engaged realism.” Ernest Holmes, along with the Buddha realized that suffering comes from ignorance of the true nature of reality, that from this ignorance arises an at...
